The 2026 Gaming in Germany Conference will take place on November 10 at the DoubleTree Hilton Ku’damm in Berlin. Organizers have released the initial speaker roster and outlined the regulatory topics for the annual industry gathering.
Regulatory Agenda and Confirmed Panel
The program will address the ongoing assessment of the 2021 State Gambling Treaty and the legal status of new formats such as prediction betting, sweepstakes, and eSports wagering. Discussions will also cover the future of state gambling monopolies in Germany and Austria, alongside market re-regulation in Austria. Industry representatives will present strategies for licensed operators to compete with offshore providers.The confirmed panel includes Dr. Damir Boehm, Dr. Christian Piska, Dr.
Joerg Hofmann, Dr. Christian Rapani, Dr. Dirk Quermann, Mathias Dahms, Christian Heins, Birgitte Sand, Josh Hodgson, Vasiliki Panousi, Dr.
Nepomuk Nothelfer, and Mohamed Messaoudi. Conference founder Willem van Oort stated that the lineup brings regulatory and commercial expertise to address the GlüStv 2021 evaluation results. Additional presenters and session details will be published before the event.
