Slotegrator launched its Predictor platform earlier this year to introduce prediction markets to iGaming operators. The system targets younger, digitally native users by merging sports wagering with financial exchange mechanics.
Traditional sportsbooks rely on operator-set odds with a fixed margin. Prediction markets operate on a peer-to-peer exchange model where contract prices shift according to supply and demand. Olga Ivanchik, chief operating officer at Slotegrator, notes that the format appeals to media-savvy audiences who regularly monitor cryptocurrency movements and cultural events.
The structure allows players to trade positions on political, social, and athletic outcomes rather than placing single wagers.
Platform Mechanics and Market Accuracy
The Predictor solution addresses the sector's lack of exchange-based forecasting tools. The platform uses an Automated Market Maker algorithm to generate prices. Instead of embedding a margin into each market, the system collects revenue through commissions on successful trades.
Ivanchik states that market-driven pricing provides transparent odds that reflect collective user sentiment. She adds that historical data shows prediction markets match or exceed the accuracy of professional polling organizations.
