Konami Gaming announced on August 12, 2026 that it has obtained ISO 27001 certification for its information security management system. The audit covers the Synkros CMS and Konami Online Interactive platforms.
Security Audit Scope
Schellman & Company conducted the assessment. The certification confirms that the company’s security framework meets established requirements for managing, monitoring, and updating data protection protocols in alignment with operational risks. Konami Gaming stated that the verified system provides casino operators and players with documented safeguards for information handling.Management Statement

He added that structuring the ISMS to meet ISO 27001 standards reinforces the company’s approach to serving customers, partners, and staff. Tom Soukup, senior vice president and chief systems product officer, emphasized that the independent audit reflects ongoing efforts across research, quality assurance, and support divisions to maintain privacy controls.Earlier in July, Konami Gaming filed the initial gaming license applications in Japan, marking the first submission of its kind in the region.
